Georgia's COVID tally passes 1.6M

Over the past day, 4,835 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 13,840 COVID recoveries and 41 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 1,603,007 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 1,491,321 of them have recovered, while 16,138 have died.

Currently, there are around 100,000 active COVID cases in Georgia.
