Erdogan, Zelenskyy mull extension of grain deal

Presidents of Ukraine and Turkiye Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the implementation of the agreement on food exports from Ukrainian ports during a telephone conversation.
Zelenskyy said on his Twitter page that the two presidents also discussed cooperation in defense and energy sectors.
Contracts for the export of food from Ukraine were concluded on July 22 in Istanbul for a period of 120 days. One of the agreements is valid until November 19 and regulates the procedure for exporting grain from the Kiev-controlled ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhne.
