Erdogan: UN Security Council members don't support Türkiye in its bid to join organization

Ankara is seeking to obtain permanent membership in the UN Security Council, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said after Friday prayers in a mosque in Istanbul, Report informs referring to Turkish media.
"Türkiye is seeking to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council, but has not yet achieved any results in this regard," he said.
At the same time, he noted that the current permanent members of the Security Council do not demonstrate support for Türkiye's aspirations in this direction.
