Armenia must realize that its future is tied to the countries of the region, and first of all get rid of the pernicious influence of third countries and the foreign diaspora, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the "Day of the High-Level Observer" during the international EFES-2024 exercises in Izmir.
According to Report, the Turkish leader emphasized that after the liberation of Karabakh from nearly 30 years of occupation, a truly historic opportunity has emerged in the region to establish lasting peace.
"Such an opportunity cannot be missed. Armenia must get rid of the pernicious influence of third countries and its diaspora abroad, which will bring it closer to peace. The Armenian people must realize that their future is tied to the countries of the region, neighbors with whom they have coexisted for centuries. So it will be in the future. Armenia must also have the courage to do what is necessary," he said.
