Donetsk regional administration: Russia uses phosphorus shells in Avdiivka

Since April 26 evening, Russian troops have twice attacked Avdiivka city (Ukraine) with phosphorus shells, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said, Report informs citing Ukrainian media.
“They attacked first time last night in the area of the coking plant, and this morning - in the city center. As a result of this shelling, several fires broke out in the city,” Kyrylenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that following the second shelling, the Russian Armed Forces launched an airstrike on Avdiivka, hitting a high-rise building. He reported about at least one wounded.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a break through attempt of Russian troops in this direction.
