Delegations from over 30 countries expected at mourning events for Ali Khamenei

More than 30 countries have said they are ready to send official delegations to participate in mourning ceremonies and pay tribute to Iran's former supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, according to Iranian media.
Ali Akbar Pourjamshidian, secretary of the national task force organizing the farewell and burial ceremonies, said over 30 countries had expressed readiness to attend and submit formal requests to participate.
He also noted that religious leaders from more than 90 countries have reportedly indicated their intention to attend the ceremonies.
According to the report, the farewell ceremonies for Ali Khamenei are scheduled to begin on July 4, with the burial set to take place on July 9.
