Death toll in Dagestan gas station blast rises to 30, 3 days of mourning declared - UPDATED

The death toll in the explosion that rocked a gas station in the Russian city of Makhachkala has risen to 30, the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations said, Report informs via TASS.

The bodies of 3 more people were found under the rubble.

The Republic of Dagestan declared three days of mourning following the death of people after an explosion at a filling station in Makhachkala, Report informs, referring to the Russian press.

Twenty-seven people died and over 100 were injured as a result of an explosion at a filling station in Makhachkala, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.

Russian investigators initiated a criminal case under Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life or health of consumers, causing the death of two or more people by negligence).
