The funeral of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will be held on May 23 in his hometown of Mashhad, Report informs referring to Iranian media.

The body of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter accident, will be sent from Tabriz to his hometown Mashhad on Tuesday, Report informs citing the Fasr News Agency.
According to Tasnim, a council meeting was held in Mashhad this morning regarding Raisi's funeral. It was decided to name one of the main streets or squares after the late president.
