Head of the Belarusian government Roman Golovchenko has left for an official visit to Iran and Syria, Report informs referring to the press service of the Council of Ministers of Belarus.
“The program provides for negotiations with the leaders of the countries, participation in the Belarusian-Iranian business forum, as well as visits to a number of enterprises,” the report says.
Earlier, Golovchenko, at a meeting with Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, expressed the opinion that Belarus and Iran need to ‘take a fresh look at relations.’
He noted that Belarus and Iran had already established a very good and constructive cooperation at the political level. The two countries need to make efforts to increase trade, open up new areas and expand cooperation in the field of high technologies.
