Armenia reports record number of COVID-19 cases

Armenia confirmed 771 new coronavirus cases over the past day, bringing the tally to 23,247, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country.
According to it, 12,149 people have recovered in the country. The number of active cases stands for 10,625.
The total death toll reached 410, as 13 more fell victim to the virus.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 9,361,000 globally, resulting in more than 5,048,000 recoveries and over 479,000 deaths.
