Armenia not planing to leave Eurasian Economic Union

The Armenian government is not considering withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Armenia's Economy Minister Gevork Papoyan said at a press conference, Report informs.
"Currently, Armenia is a member of the EAEU. And at this moment, there is withdrawal from the EAEU on the Armenian government's agenda," he said.
On January 9, the Armenian government approved a draft law on the country's accession to the European Union. In this regard, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated that Armenia's accession to the European Union is incompatible with the country's membership in the EAEU.
