The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, called for lessons to learn from the past two years of the pandemic and expressed the hope that the pandemic will end this year, Report informs with reference to Haber Global.
"2022 should be the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. I reiterate my call for greater equity in the distribution of vaccines as this inequality has led to the spread of the omicron strain. If we ensure justice, the pandemic will be a thing of the past," said the chief of WHO.
