Baku. 14 February. REPORT.AZ/ "Iran is the greatest threat to the peace and stability," US Vice President Mike Pence said .
Report informs citing the RIA Novosti that he spoke at a conference on the Middle East, organized by the US and Poland in Warsaw.
"On the sidelines of this conference, leaders from the region agreed that Iran poses the biggest threat to the Middle East,” Pence said.
According to him, Iran is "the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism".
At the same time, the US Vice President stressed that the actions of European countries supporting Iran will lead to deepening of contradictions between Brussels and Washington.
"Sadly, some of our leading European partners have not been nearly as cooperative. In fact, they have led the effort to create mechanisms to break up our sanctions," Pence said during a conference on the Middle East organised by the United States in Warsaw.
