Washington and Canberra will sign an agreement at an upcoming bilateral summit to allow US companies to launch from Australia, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, said at a briefing for journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.
“This tech innovation piece will also be highlighting a new space agreement that will allow US companies to launch into space from Australia - so, pretty exciting there,” he noted.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese arrived in the US on a state visit. His full talks with Biden will take place on October 25.
