US registers over 61,000 new COVID cases per day

Over the past day, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in the United States increased by 61,413, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities, media, and other open sources.
Meanwhile, 1,445 COVID patients died due to virus-related health complications.
Thus, the total number of detected COVID cases in the United States reached 29,730,639.
As of March 20, the country’s death toll is 541,145.
