US doesn’t intend to participate in battles in Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone

The US has no intention of taking part in hostilities in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said at a regular briefing for journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.
There is no intention to do so, he said, commenting on the question of whether the US shares the goals that Israel declares in its current military operations in the Palestinian territories.
Kirby declined to clarify whether the US supports the plan to destroy the radical Hamas movement as a goal of Israel's operation.
He noted that Washington is ensuring that as a result of the operation, radicals will no longer be able to carry out terror attacks against Israel.
