UN Secretary-General to visit Russia on April 26

Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who will arrive in Moscow on April 26 for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Report informs citing TASS that Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"On Tuesday, April 26, UN Secretary-General António Guterres will arrive in Moscow for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He will also be received by Russian President Vladimir Putin," the Kremlin spokesman said.

The office of Guterres confirmed that the UN Secretary-General will travel to Moscow on April 25.

Earlier, Guterres sent letters to the permanent missions of Russia and Ukraine to the UN with a request to the presidents of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, to receive him in their capitals.
