Ukrainian generals released from military duty together, sources say

General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Lieutenant General Serhii Shaptala, former Chief of the General Staff, have been released from military duty for health reasons, Ukrainska Pravda said citing the Ministry of Defence, Report informs.
Independent sources within the Defence Ministry say that Zaluzhnyi and Shaptala have been discharged based on the conclusion of a military medical board declaring them unfit for military service and have been removed from the military register.
