Tokyo targets firms from China, UAE in new round of Russia sanctions

The Japanese government is set to include companies from India, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan in its new sanctions list, targeting firms that have been circumventing anti-Russia sanctions, according to a statement by Yoshimasa Hayashi, the Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, Report informs.
"At the recent Group of Seven summit, we announced that we are considering a new package of sanctions that will include companies from third countries," Hayashi said. "We are looking at measures against companies from China, India, the UAE, and Uzbekistan."
