Swiss citizen and CAR soldier killed in armed attack

A Swiss citizen and a soldier of the Central African Republic's armed forces were killed in an armed attack in the village of Imohoro, located about 50 kilometers north of Bangui.

According to Report, citing RFI, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, and the identities of the assailants remain unknown.

The Central African Armed Forces have increased patrols and continue search operations to locate those responsible.

The incident occurred on Saturday.
