Sweden extends temporary entry ban to foreigners

Today, the Swedish government has decided to extend the temporary entry ban to foreigners until July 7, Report says, citing TASS. The ban does not apply to residents of EU countries, Great Britain, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.
"The government decided to extend the temporary entry ban to the EU via Sweden until July 7, 2020. The decision was taken following the recommendation of the European Commission. The entry ban aims to mitigate the effects of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and reduce the outbreak of COVID-19."
The temporary entry ban began to apply on March 19 and initially applied for 30 days. It was then extended until May 15 and June 30, by the European Commission's recommendation.
