Steinmeier closes issue of reparations from Poland

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier held a meeting with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda in Malta on Thursday, Report informs, citing TASS.
Steinmeier supported the position of the German government on reparation demands from Warsaw.
"This is by no means an open question," Steinmeier was quoted as saying.
On October 3, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau signed a note demanding reparations from Germany for the damage caused to the country during World War II.
