South Korea vows to provide $2.3B in aid to Ukraine

South Korea will allocate $2.3 billion in aid to Ukraine starting from 2024, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul said during a meeting of foreign ministers of NATO countries and their partners, Report informs via TASS.

"Minister Cho Tae-yul said that our country will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine for the sake of restoring peace and that a medium- and long-term package of $2.3 billion will be allocated from this year," the South Korean Foreign Ministry said.

Furthermore, South Korea will allocate $12 million through the NATO fund for rehabilitation centers dedicated to helping wounded Ukrainian servicemen.

South Korea does not supply Kyiv with arms and ammunition, but has provided it with humanitarian and financial assistance.
