Russian and Syrian foreign ministers discuss situation in Gaza

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today discussed the Israel-Palestinian conflict in a call with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad, the Russian MFA said, Report informs.
Lavrov noted “the unacceptability of Israeli air strikes on Syrian territory”.
The ministers expressed their commitment to the honest implementation of the decisions of the UN Security Council based on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
