Rubio: Talks on increasing Hormuz ship traffic show progress

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said progress had been made in talks with Iran and Oman on increasing the number of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but that no final agreement had been reached yet, Report informs, citing The Jerusalem Post.

Rubio made the remarks to journalists at the US State Department.

According to Rubio, progress had been achieved in the negotiations, but the sides had not yet reached a final decision. He said Washington hoped this would happen soon.
