Prime Minister: Ukraine's state debt grows to $111 billion during year of war

The state debt of Ukraine increased by $13 billion to $111 billion during 2022, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said during a press conference, Report informs via UNIAN.
"Significant international financial support in the amount of $38.5 billion during 2022 allowed a slight increase in public debt. As of the beginning of the year, the state debt is $111 billion, it has increased by $13 billion compared to the year before last," Shmyhal said.
During 2022, Ukraine restructured part of the public debt, namely, it received a deferral of $20 billion in foreign debt for 2 years.
