Prime Minister of Thailand announces release of 12 Thai hostages held Gaza Strip

Twelve Thai hostages in the Gaza Strip, kidnapped by members of the Hamas group, have been freed, Prime Minister of Thailand Settha Thaweesin said on the social network X.

Rocket attacks on Israeli territory began early in the morning of October 7 from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army responded by declaring a "state of readiness for war." On October 8, Israel officially announced that the country had entered a "state of war." The operation was called "Iron Swords".
