Polish official denies plan to cut Ukraine's Starlink access

Zbigniew Bogucki, Head of the Polish Presidential Administration, has denied claims that there are plans to cut off Starlink internet access in Ukraine, Report informs.

Bogucki said on X that the presidential veto on the law supporting Ukrainian refugees will not affect Ukraine’s access to Starlink services. “The costs of this connection are financed under the provisions of the current legislation, and the draft submitted to the Sejm by the President of Poland supports this situation,” he wrote on X.

Under existing Polish law, support for Starlink access in Ukraine is guaranteed until September 30, 2025. Bogucki expressed confidence that the parliament will work effectively on the President’s initiative before the deadline.

President Navrocki's administration also refuted a statement by Poland’s Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, who had earlier claimed that support for the secure storage of Ukrainian administrative data was coming to an end.

Earlier, Gawkowski warned the previous day about the potential risk of Starlink terminals being shut down.
