Poland to send note to Germany demanding reparations

The Polish authorities intend to send a note to Germany about reparations for the damage caused during the Second World War by the end of the year, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Shimon Shinkovsky wel Senk announced on September 7, Report informs, referring to foreign media sources.
“Here, we have planned certain stages. The first step was to prepare – it was a long process – a report on military casualties. It took about five years,” the diplomat said.
According to him, as a result, a three-volume document was created. This makes it possible to take the next step – to formally submit a note demanding reparations from Germany. Shinkovsky Vel Senk stressed that the note should be expected no later than the end of this year.
