Kyrgyzstan bans face coverings in public places

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov has signed a law banning citizens from wearing face-covering clothing in public places, Report informs, citing Kyrgyz president's website.
Additionally, the new law prohibits the practice of faith and religious ceremonies in nursing homes, prisons, and military units.
Kyrgyzstan also restricts the distribution of religious literature in public places and educational institutions. Furthermore, the creation of political parties on religious grounds is also prohibited. Violation of these rules will result in a fine of 20,000 soms ($228.70).
