France continues to violate human rights in Africa through its ongoing colonial and neocolonial policies, according to renowned activist and one of the main critics of French neocolonialism, Kemi Seba, who spoke at a briefing for representatives of Azerbaijani media.
According to Report, Seba arrived in Azerbaijan to establish cooperation and seek support in confronting the outrages of the French oligarchy.
"France is attempting to teach Azerbaijan a lesson in humanism regarding the so-called 'Nagorno-Karabakh' issue, while it continues to carry out inhumane colonial policies in African countries," he stated.
As a political journalist, Seba said he has personally witnessed France's oppressive tactics and has begun to fight against colonialism.
He emphasized, "One cannot speak of sovereignty when France, using its troops, keeps other countries under oppression. France is inherently a country that pursues racist and colonial policies."
Seba called for continued resistance, stressing that the unity of African peoples remains a priority.
