Israel launches artillery fire to hit targets in Lebanon - UPDATED

The Israeli army has started hitting targets in Lebanon with artillery, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, Report informs.

The results of the attack are still unknown.

Earlier, an aerial attack was carried out from Lebanon to Israel.

The IDF says drone infiltration sirens that sounded in the Upper and Western Galilee earlier were due to a “suspicious aerial target” that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, Report informs via The Times of Israel.

It says several interceptor missiles were fired at the target, and the incident is now over.
