Germany records over 16,000 new COVID cases

Germany recorded 16,033 new cases of coronavirus infection and 207 COVID-related deaths over the past day, Report informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
According to the institute, 2,645,783 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Germany.
To date, the country’s COVID death toll has reached 74,565.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection a pandemic.
