Germany hits new record in COVID cases

Over the past day, Germany has recorded 76,414 cases of coronavirus infection, which is the highest daily rate during the COVID-19 pandemic, Report informs referring to the data of the Robert Koch Institute.
In total, 5,650,170 cases were recorded in Germany, the number of deaths exceeded 100,000.
The authorities of a number of regions of the country are introducing their own lockdown measures to prevent an increase in the number of infected people.
Earlier, the World Health Organization reported that by March, deaths from coronavirus in Europe could exceed 2 million people.
