German Rheinmetall plans to start producing armored vehicles in Ukraine in 2024

The German arms concern Rheinmetall AG intends to produce the first armored vehicles in Ukraine in 2024, company CEO Armin Papperger said, Report informs via foreign media.

"Once the contract is signed, we want to finish the first [Fuchs] within 6-7 months, and the first Lynx within 12-13 months," he said.

Ukraine and Rheinmetall AG created a joint defense enterprise in October to produce weapons and repair Western-supplied equipment.
