France to set up new reception center on Italy border

France is to establish a new temporary reception center for migrants and refugees arriving via the border with Italy at Ventimiglia, BFM TV reported on Monday, Report informs.
The new facility is to be located in Menton and will have a capacity of up to 200 people a day.
The exact location of the new reception center, which will replace existing facilities now deemed inadequate to cope with the greater influx of people crossing into France from Italy, will be announced on Tuesday.
BFM TV also said the facility is expected to make it easier to return new arrivals to Italy.
