France facing new COVID-19 wave

France is facing a new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, French vaccination chief Alain Fischer said, Report informs, citing Reuters.

Fischer said he was personally in favor of reinstating mandatory face masks wearing on public transport.

It is noteworthy that new cases in France have tripled in a month.
