Italy stopped supplying arms to Israel after the conflict in Gaza escalated in October 2023, the Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said, Report informs.
"After October 7, we decided not to supply weapons to Israel anymore, so there is no need to discuss this issue," he said.
The Foreign Minister’s statement came after calls from the leader of the Italian Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, not to send weapons to the Jewish state, so as not to inflame the Middle East conflict.
