Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin presented the decision on the resignation of the government to the President of the country Sauli Niinisto, Report informs, citing foreign press.
The Cabinet of Ministers will perform its duties until it is re-formed.
The Social Democratic Party led by Marin lost the April 2 parliamentary elections. After that, the head of government announced that she would resign.
