According to a statement published on the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs website, the project titled "Building Trust in the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS)" is designed to strengthen Ukraine’s domestic revenue base and reduce its dependence on external financial aid.

"The project aims to be implemented from 2025 to 2028, with a total allocation of €1.6 million," the statement notes.

The initiative will be carried out jointly by Finnish tax authorities and Ukraine’s State Tax Service. The project focuses on creating an efficient and transparent tax system and boosting private sector engagement in Ukraine, in coordination with Kyiv’s Western partners.
