EU to hold special summit on Ukraine

A special meeting of the EU leaders on Ukraine, defense, and energy issues will be held on May 30-31, Report informs citing TASS that European Council President Charles Michel tweeted on Friday.

"A special European Council will take place on 30 and 31 May. On the agenda notably defence, energy and Ukraine," Michel wrote.

He noted that the decision to hold such a meeting was discussed at the EU summits in Versailles on March 10-11 and in Brussels on March 24-25.
