The EU summit held in Brussels has updated record for the last few years - EU leaders have been negotiating appointments to key positions in the European structures for over 17 hours in different formats, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
The previous record was set in 2015 at the summit on the Greek debt problem, then the negotiations lasted for 17 hours.
