China vice president meets with Elon Musk

China's Vice President Han Zheng met on Sunday with Tesla CEO Elon Musk and other members of the US business community in Washington D.C.

Report informs via Xinhua that Han told Musk he "welcomed Tesla (TSLA.O) and other US companies to seize the opportunities and share in the benefits of China's development, and contribute to the growth of China-US economic and trade relations.

Musk noted that Tesla is ready to deepen investments and cooperation in China, and play an active role in promoting economic and trade exchanges between the US and China.

Han Zheng arrived in the US to participate in the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
