Baltic republics to be connected by hiking trail

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will be connected by a hiking trail of more than 2,141 kilometers, Report informs referring to Travel and Leisure.
It is expected to become part of a European hiking route stretching along the coasts of the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland.
It will take 102 to 114 days to walk the path through the Baltic countries.
The route is divided into 20 kilometers-long sections. For travelers who don't want to get around that much, there is a division into 50 sections, each of which can be suitable for a day hike.
The authorities plan to erect signposts along the path, as well as maps of accommodation and nearby attractions.
