Australia: Man dies after shark attack while spearfishing

A man has died in Australia after being attacked by a shark while spearfishing, Report informs via Reuters.
This marks the third shark attack incident in the country over the past three weeks.
Police said the 35-year-old man was attacked near Michaelmas Island, close to the city of Albany in Western Australia.
At the time of the incident, he was spearfishing with family members.
The victim was brought back to shore, where paramedics attempted to provide assistance, but he could not be saved.
Witnesses reported seeing a shark approximately 4.5 meters in length near the scene. The species has not yet been identified.
According to wildlife authorities, Australia records around 20 shark attacks on humans each year, although most are non-fatal. However, fatalities from drowning on Australian beaches remain significantly higher.
