At least 38 injured in blaze at police complex in Egypt

A huge fire at a police complex in Egypt has injured at least 38 people, according to emergency services and local media.
Report informs via the BBC that firefighters managed to contain the blaze at the facility in Ismailia, and local hospitals have been placed on alert.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and the government has not commented.
Civil defence sources said that the fire caused parts of the headquarters of the Directorate of Security to collapse.
Egypt's health ministry has sent 50 ambulances and two military aircraft to the building, with at least 24 people being treated for asphyxiation along with two for burns.
There are fears that the number of people injured could be higher with one Egyptian journalist reporting that because of the size of the fire, there could be deaths.

At least 25 people have been injured in a fire in the building of the security forces department in the Egyptian province of Ismailia, located in the northeastern part of the country.
Report informs via Al-Youm as-Sabia that all healthcare facilities in the province have been brought to full preparedness to receive the injured. The fire has been localized. Rescuers fear people may remain in the building and continue their search, with at least 30 ambulance vehicles at the site.
The fire in the building erupted on Monday night. Al Arabiya earlier claimed citing sources on the ground that the building partially collapsed, but the Egyptian authorities have not yet confirmed the information. The cause of the ignition is being investigated.
