At least 10 killed in chain accident involving 7 vehicles in Türkiye

A chain accident involving seven vehicles occurred in Türkiye, killing at least 10 people and injuring 54 others.

Report informs citing Turkish media that the accident occurred on a section of the North Marmara highway in Sakarya province.

For unknown reasons, 7 vehicles collided, including three buses and one truck.

Provincial Governor Yasar Karadeniz said that 10 people are currently known to have died and 54 people were injured.

Traffic on the highway in the direction of Istanbul has been suspended.
