"The withdrawal of the US troops and international coalition forces from Afghanistan will pose a security challenge not only for the region and its neighbors but also for Russia," the Afghan president Ashraf Ghani's National Security Adviser (NSA), Hamdullah Mohib, told RIA Novosti.
The United States is reducing its presence in Afghanistan for preparation for a complete withdrawal. This is done to create stability in Afghanistan. The main issue is how we will benefit from this opportunity. Although this is a problem for us at the national level, it also means a challenge to the region," he said.
