Argentina confirms first case of monkeypox

The authorities of Argentina have confirmed a monkeypox disease in one of the country's residents, the country's Ministry of Health said, Report informs, citing TASS.
"The test result taken from the first likely (sick) was positive," the ministry said.
The patient feels well and is undergoing treatment. All people with whom he had direct contact are under medical supervision, but they have not shown any symptoms of the disease.
