An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region on April 19 morning, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) noted, Report informs via Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 85.5 km, was initially determined to be at 36.13 degrees north latitude and 71.38 degrees east longitude, it added.
